This is a hands-on, leadership role requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in marine tourism operations. If you''re a motivated leader who excels at problem-solving, managing people, and driving operational excellencethis is the opportunity for you.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operation of our reef cruises to ensure seamless, safe, and efficient delivery of services.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory authorities including AMSA, MSQ, GBRMPA.Manage marine crew and resources through effective rostering aligned with passenger numbers and activities.Oversee diving operations and ensure safety protocols are upheld (Dive Master or Dive Instructor qualifications highly regarded).Supervise and optimise stock control, catering, and passenger logistics.Monitor and control operating costs while driving strategies to improve onboard sales.Lead staff recruitment, training, development, and performance management.Collaborate with Sales, Reservations, and Marketing to align operational capabilities with customer expectations.Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.What Were Looking ForProven management experience within marine tourism or similar operational environments.Marine qualifications are essential Certificate IV (Master up to 45m Near Coastal)Strong understanding of reef-based diving and marine tourism compliance.Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt and problem-solve under pressure.Solid computer literacy, especially in Word and Excel.A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and marine experiences.Why Join Us?At Sunlover Reef Cruises, you''ll be part of a respected team operating in one of the worlds most iconic marine environments.
