This role will work across our Shepparton and Wodonga sites. The key focus is to undertake maintenance and repairs of Downers owned plant used by local Operations across both the Workshop and Field Services. The position provides technical expertise, allocates necessary resources, and adopts Downer Zero Harm principles to ensure efficient service delivery and promote equipment availability.This role is ideally suited to candidates with strong exposure to Heavy Vehicles, Road Transport, or Road Building Plant.About YouTrade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Technician / Fitter or equivalent (essential)Exposure to Road Transport, Civil Construction, Mining, or similar sectorsProven workshop supervision experience with leadership and coaching skills (preferred)Strong fault-finding skills and breakdown supportExperience scheduling maintenance over large geographically dispersed areasTimely and quality decision-making, working effectively under tight deadlines and pressureComputer literacy, including Excel and MS Office suite, highly regardedWhy work for usIconic Australia/New Zealand companyRecognised as a WORK180 Endorsed Employer for All Women.
