Hired employees receive a $750 referral bonus.A Day in the Life as a Benefits Verification Specialist:This role involves working directly with healthcare providers and insurance payers to verify insurance benefits for specific medications. The Benefits Verification Specialist supports providers with coding, billing, and navigating reimbursement issues, including prior authorizations (PA) and appeals.Ensure cases progress according to company standards, providing excellent service and quality.Conduct benefit investigations by contacting payers to verify coverage and resolve reimbursement barriers.Verify patient-specific benefits, documenting coverage, costs, and access options.Identify coverage restrictions and ways to expedite access.Manage prior authorization and claims appeals processes.Report reimbursement trends or delays to management.Act as a liaison for field reps, healthcare providers, and patients.Qualifications:Deep understanding of Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage.2-3 years of experience in benefit investigation and insurance coverage analysis.2-3 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers regarding insurance plans.Excellent communication skills and grammar.Experience with Salesforce preferred.Additional employee benefits include:Medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance.Teledoc services.Supportive, progressive environment.Competitive pay and immediate vesting 401(k).Legal insurance.Recognition awards include:#TransformingLives Honor: A peer-to-peer quarterly award for transforming lives.Values Award: Quarterly recognition for exemplifying core values: Excellence, Winning, Respect, Inspiration, and Teamwork.Vision Award: Annual award for supporting our mission to transform lives through therapy access.AssistRx is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
