As an enthusiastic leader you will lead and motivate a team of reservation specialists to ensure delivery of exceptional customer services to our Great Adventures passengers.Reporting to the Reservations Manager your key responsibilities will include:In coordination with the Reservations Manager and Supervising Team, Manage staff schedules and rosters, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times and adjusting staffing levels as needed based on demand and employee availabilityProvide leadership and support to reservation staff, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork and collaborationEnsure all reservations are booked with accuracy, and personalised guest preferences are shared as appropriate with internal stakeholdersManage guest enquiries including feedback in a courteous and effective manner, following through to ensure all issues are rectified to the guests full satisfaction and within guidelinesMaintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations and guest informationStability in a long-established business proud of their inclusive culture and working environmentDiscounted boat tours and cruises for your family and friendsDiscounted diving tours in Cairns and Port DouglasCorporate discounts on private healthA wide range of special discounts with our industry partners and goods suppliersMeet people from all over the world coming to the Reef for their once in a lifetime to visit one of the greatest World Heritage sites.About youMinimum of 2 years of reservations experience within the hotel/tourism sector (desirable)Experience with Respax and RMS Property Management system (desirable)Cash handling and reconciliation skillsHigh level of attention to detailEffective communication skills in spoken, and written formats with both external and internal customersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment demonstrating decision making skills with the ability to assess situations and make mutually beneficial decisions within established guidelinesAbility to work a flexible roster with some weekend work involvedAbout Quicksilver GroupWe are proudly Australias leading Great Barrier Reef tourism company with operations based in Cairns, Port Douglas and Green Island.
