Mortuary Transfer Assistant - WarrnamboolDue to increased work, there is now a casual position available.This role involves providing a transfer service for the deceased, from home or hospital to the state coroner''s mortuary facility in Melbourne. Applicants must reside in or near Warrnambool.This casual position is suitable for a caring, compassionate individual, possibly retired, looking to earn extra income by assisting with mortuary transfers on an on-call basis.No prior industry experience is required; however, the role requires:Skills in people and relationship managementImpeccable verbal and personal presentationAbility to prioritize and work effectively under pressureExcellent customer service skillsPhysical fitness and ability to participate in assisted heavy liftingCurrent Victorian Driver''s Licence and ability to obtain a Police checkApplicants must be flexible and available on short notice, including weekends, public holidays, and nights.In return, the role offers industry-leading remuneration.Applicants should understand the on-call nature of the job and submit an up-to-date resume with two professional referees via Seek.
