About the Role Part of the Executive Team and reporting directly to the CEO, this key leadership role is responsible for the human resources, finance, information technology, facilities and office management, governance, and Board functions of the GBCMA. Candidate Profile Candidates will need to demonstrate broad experience across several corporate and business services functions and well-developed leadership and relationship-building skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality business services to the GBCMA. You will have sound financial, risk management, and governance skills, the ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall success of the GBCMA, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. Qualifications & Experience Several years experience across a range of Corporate Services functions, preferably in the government sector Extensive experience in leading and managing teams delivering high-quality services An appropriate tertiary qualification aligned to at least one of the corporate services areas Role Accountabilities Provide strategic input, advice, and options to support the GBCMA in achieving its purpose and strategic priorities. Lead the development of financial, IT, governance, risk, and people strategies, policies, and procedures to deliver a sustainable and effective corporate services function. Ensure awareness, integration, and delivery of relevant Commonwealth and State policies and strategies in Risk, Governance, Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, and OHS. Anticipate future trends to foster innovative and continuous improvement thinking. Support the GBCMA Board and sub-committees through leadership of the relevant functions. Deliver key strategic functions including the Annual Report and Corporate Plan.
