Your goal will be to create a culture of safety, maintain regulatory compliance, and reduce risk through training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and job sitesAssist with accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsDeliver safety training and onboarding programs for employees and managementMonitor and report on key safety metrics, trends, and KPIsServe as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or auditsPromote a proactive safety culture through communication, recognition, and engagement initiativesMaintain and manage safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection logs, and training recordsQualificationsBachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (Preferred)5+ years of experience in a safety leadership role, preferably in LogisticsStrong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulationsProven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teamsExcellent communication, organizational, and analytical skillsRelevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/510) are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
