We also aim to empower individuals, families, and communities to optimize their health.About the roleThis is a strategic human resources leadership role, responsible for leading and mentoring the People and Culture team as well as driving strategic initiatives to build DDHS workforce capacity, engagement, retention, and support the achievement of DDHS''s strategic objectives.The Senior Manager People & Culture will also provide leadership and guidance to the People and Culture team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services across recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and reporting.Responsibilities:Develop and implement contemporary people and culture strategies aligned with the DDHS strategic plan and operational initiatives.Develop and implement plans to support the delivery and achievement of the Aboriginal employment strategy.Lead the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture function, ensuring the provision of quality, timely, and consistent services.Provide leadership and support to the Learning and Development Officer, ensuring DDHS'' strategic People and Culture priorities are captured.Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and service delivery outcomes and make recommendations accordingly.To be successful, you will need:Extensive experience in a senior People and Culture leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of achievement.Knowledge of contemporary human resources management principles, employee relations, and employment legislation.Experience in developing and implementing people and culture strategies across complex organisations.Proven ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds and multidisciplinary teams.Experience managing People and Culture teams and delivering best practice services.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.Experience working with an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation.What we offer:6 weeks annual leave per annum5 days paid leave during the end-of-year shutdown period (in addition to annual leave)Salary packaging of up to $15,990 per annumEmployment with DDHS is subject to a police check, a current NT Working with Childrens Card, CPR certification, and full vaccination against COVID-19, or an exemption listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).Only those with full working rights will be considered for this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
