Housing Connect & Supported Residential Services | LauncestonAre you ready to make a difference in the community?Do you have experience in facility or tenancy management?We are seeking a Facility Supervisor for a casual positionworking at our Launceston sites as well as having the opportunityto work state-wide. This is a live-in position thatincludes providing after hours support (24 hour shifts, 8.30am to8.30am which include a sleepover).What you will be doing in this role:Undertake tenancy management functions;Complete and/or arrange cleaning and maintenance;Work effectively and regularly liaise with tenants toensure their health and wellbeing is maintained;Provide assistance and preparation of meals;Provide limited on-call assistance to tenants outside9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday to ensure the smooth runningof the property including any emergencies that take place outof hours.What we can offer you:Competitive hourly rate (plus casual leave loading);A dynamic, fast-paced environment;Opportunities for personal and professional growth;Opportunities to work state-wide;Collaborative team culture.You must have:Knowledge of the issues pertaining to people experiencinghomelessness;Sound understanding of relevant legislation including theResidential Tenancy Act 1997 and occupational health and safetyrequirements or willingness to develop;Safe Food Handling certificate or willingness to undertaketraining;Ability to effectively work within a team environment andknowledge of external services to ensure tenants haveappropriate levels of support;Ability to contribute to a professional team environmentincluding team de-briefing, program planning activities and avariety of other team based consultative processes;Good time management skills with the ability to effectivelyset priorities;High level interpersonal and verbal communicationskills;Well-developed computer and written communicationskills;Sound knowledge and understanding of the issues surroundingprivacy and confidentiality.The Position Description with further information regarding therole can be found below.For further information about the position, please contact DavidThornton, State Manager Accommodation Services, on 0490 287573 or davidt@anglicare-tas.org.au during business hours.The successful applicant will be required to:provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable PeopleRegistration (employment/volunteer category) including NDISWorker Screening Checkpresent an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerablepeople type National Police Check (no older than 12months);provide an International Police Check if you have residedfor 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of16;provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical:provide a current provisional or full Australian DriverLicence.On commencement the successful applicant will be required toundertake our structured Safeguarding Children Trainingprogram.APPLICATIONS CLOSE: SUNDAY, 25 th MAY 2025 at6.00pmThis position is available for an immediate start andapplications will be shortlisted upon receipt.If you are interested in joining our team, please click on the''APPLY link below to commence yourapplication.
