Hinterland Aviation is a leading regional airline in North Queensland, with our Head Office & Heavy Maintenance division in Cairns, operating a growing fleet of 15 turbine-powered aircraft. Due to sustained growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised Technical Records/Maintenance Planning professional to join our Part 42 team in a permanent full-time role. This position reports to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor and Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM). Core responsibilities include: Maintenance planning & forecasting Assessing technical data for applicability Preparing monthly reports for the financial department Data entry for aircraft daily hours/cycles Maintaining and monitoring aircraft logbooks Skills, experience, and attributes required: Strong administration skills highly organised, thorough, systems-oriented, with meticulous attention to detail Critical self-reflection and a friendly personality Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and work productively as part of a team Self-motivated with a positive attitude Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet Willingness to learn new processes and technologies The ideal candidate will have: Experience using a maintenance management system Aviation knowledge (favourable) Applicants must address the core functions in their application.
