Job DutiesOperate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station''s service area.Perform related customer service functions.Perform other duties as assigned.For MLBA employees onlyMinimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the area.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station''s service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and courier skills.Job ConditionsNeat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations and pass a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid drivers license with a good driving record as per state requirements and company policy.
