CHD Rehabilitation services are seeking a Therapy Team Lead Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist for our Neurorehabilitation Centre based in Bagshot, Surrey.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of therapy staff and develop your skills in neurorehabilitation. You will lead a team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, Clinical Psychologists, specialist nurses, and rehabilitation assistants, working alongside the Registered Manager and Clinical Head of Rehab Services to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation.At CHD, we deliver comprehensive neurological rehabilitation packages, including complex nursing care, intensive therapy, long-term disability management, and slow-stream rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse and complex caseload, including individuals with prolonged disorders of consciousness, traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and progressive neurological conditions.The post holder will have specialist knowledge in neurorehabilitation within their profession and will manage the therapy team on a day-to-day basis.You will have opportunities for regular in-service training, access to specialist courses to meet your personal development plan, and leadership development through our internal course. You will be supervised and supported in this role by the Clinical Head of Rehab Services.Main duties of the jobBe responsible for the day-to-day management of the rehabilitation therapy team.Supervise junior staff members across all professions.Deputise for the Clinical Head of Rehab Services during absences.Support the Registered Manager as required and/or in the absence of the Clinical Lead Nurse.Coordinate and lead therapy goal setting meetings, MDT meetings, and other necessary meetings.Support marketing of the service and represent CHD Living at external events and with stakeholders.Contribute to and lead the development of neuro-rehab study days and provide specialist training to therapists, care team members, and other professionals.Develop and maintain OT/PT services, leading planning, development, and evaluation.Assess and treat your own caseload, maintaining records as an autonomous practitioner.Complete neuro-rehabilitation pre-admission assessments alongside the multidisciplinary team.Be professionally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your work, including managing people using our services.About usEstablished in 1984, CHD Living is an award-winning, family-owned group providing care homes, rehabilitation, and home care services across Surrey, Hampshire, and South London. Maintain professional registration and adhere to HCPC standards.Person SpecificationQualificationsBSc/MSc Occupational Therapy or PhysiotherapyCurrent HCPC RegistrationMember of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or Royal College of OTExperienceHigh-level assessment, management, and treatment skillsExcellent clinical reasoning and organizational skillsExperience supervising others and neurorehabilitation in inpatient settingsExperience providing training and managing complex dischargesDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis role requires a DBS check due to the nature of the work with vulnerable individuals.Full-time, flexible working, compressed hours available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
