As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry and dry cleaning services meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.Operate and maintain laundry and dry cleaning equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machinesSort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens, garments, and fabricsPerform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty itemsIdentify and treat different types of stains using appropriate cleaning methodsEnsure proper handling and care of guests'' personal itemsMaintain a clean and organized work areaMonitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisorAdhere to safety protocols and hygiene standardsCollaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of laundry tasksRespond to special requests from guests or other departments in a timely mannerQualificationsProficiency in operating laundry and dry cleaning equipmentThorough knowledge of fabric care and stain removal techniquesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent time management and organizational skillsBasic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weightsPrevious experience in laundry or dry cleaning services preferredExperience in a hospitality setting is advantageousHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredRelevant vocational training in laundry services is a plusFamiliarity with hospitality industry standards is beneficialAdditional InformationBeing a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
