Join Our Youth Program Team at headspace Early Psychosis Are you a young person with lived experience of mental health challenges? We are seeking a Youth Peer Worker to act as a recovery champion for young people at our Narre Warren location. Our program focuses on early intervention, resilience, and recovery, emphasizing strengths and hope. What Youll Be Doing As a Youth Peer Worker, you will leverage your lived experience to support young people, providing one-to-one support and collaborating with clinical teams. Your insights will help shape service delivery and design, fostering understanding and recovery. About You Lived experience of mental health challenges as a young person (12-25 years) and experience with mental health services Recognition of your recovery process and ability to share your story purposefully Confidence to advocate for yourself and others in a clinical setting Australian working rights Current Victorian Driver License Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one What Youll Get Relevant training (e.g., Peer Support, group facilitation, Open Dialogue) Regular supervision and support from the Youth Program team Additional benefits including portable long service leave, wellbeing initiatives, salary packaging, health insurance, and convenient location Application Process If interested, click the APPLY button, submit your cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria, and your resume.
