Our Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of plant equipment & machinery within our organisation. The role will involve completion of routine maintenance tasks, Problem solving equipment issues and recovering reactive breakdowns as needed to minimize downtime and optimise productivityWhat youll be doing as our Maintenance Technician:Perform planned maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery & facilities in accordance to our maintenance schedules.Be the 1st responder to equipment & machinery breakdowns forming a crucial part of the escalation policyCarry out repair, replacement & refurbishment of various parts, components & systemsSupport the installation, relocation & modification of equipment & machinery as requiredAwareness of continuous improvement oppurtunities through maintenance activity & communicate potential improvementsEnsure accurate records of maintenance activity including DT Reports, Work Orders & Stores InventoryEnsure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.Uphold 5s standards through all maintenance work areasCollaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptionThe Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Maintenance Technician:A clear working knowledge of differing equipment, machinery & systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & HydraulicThe ability to identify & resolve maintenance issuesAn understanding of safety regulations and ability to perform Dynamic RABe able to communicate clear & effectively with various team membersEffective time managementNeed to have:A relevant vocational qualification NVQ, ONC, C&G with an appropriate apprenticeship.Minimum 1 years experience post apprenticeship within a Maintenance environmentCandidates without qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered.Nice to have:3+ Years post apprenticeship Maintenance ExperienceForklift Truck LicenseIPAF LicenseYoull have these personal attributes:An ability to work well under pressureGood verbal and written communication skillsRelevant technical knowledgeGood attention to detailProblem solving skillsEfficiency and organizationTeamworking skillsAdaptability & FlexibilityWhat well give you in return:Attractive salary21Days Annual Leave + Bank holidaysExtra day Annual Leave for your birthdayCompany uniformA confidential employee counselling serviceJobs are promoted internally providing job transfer opportunitiesDeath in service schemeSalary: 50,000 including shift allowanceShifts: Continental working 12 hour shifts:4 days on, 4 off, 4 days on, 4 off (6am-6pm)4 nights on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off (6pm-6am) #J-18808-Ljbffr
