You will play a critical role in administering TMS treatments and supporting clients through their therapeutic journey. This is an excellent opportunity to build specialised skills in a rapidly growing area of mental health treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister TMS treatments following approved protocols and Australian safety standards.Provide education and reassurance to clients about the TMS process, ensuring their comfort and informed consent throughout treatment.Monitor clients during sessions, observing for side effects or distress, and escalate concerns appropriately.Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in alignment with Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and local clinical governance requirements.Liaise with treating psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure cohesive care planning.Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on TMS equipment and report any issues to management promptly.Support clients through appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups related to TMS sessions.Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and team meetings, including case discussions.Adhere to infection control protocols and Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards in line with Safe Work Australia guidelines.Support stakeholder engagement initiatives, including marketing and community education, to raise awareness about TMS and the services we offer among the public and healthcare professionals.Engage in quality improvement activities, including feedback processes and service evaluations.RequirementsRelevant qualification and/or experience in healthcare, mental health, neurotechnology, or a related field (nursing qualifications are highly desirable).TMS technician certification or willingness to complete training (training provided to the right candidate).Experience working in mental health or allied health settings within Australia is highly desirable.Demonstrated understanding of mental health recovery principles, cultural safety, and trauma-informed care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support clients in emotionally sensitive situations.Competency in using clinical information systems and basic office software.Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).Understanding of Australian privacy legislation (Privacy Act 1988) and mandatory reporting obligations relevant to Tasmania.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Why Join Clarity Health Care?Work with a passionate and supportive team committed to improving mental health outcomes.Gain specialist skills in TMS therapy within a growing area of psychiatric care.Participate in ongoing training and professional development.Contribute to innovative service delivery that supports the Hobart community.Apply NowIf you''re committed to delivering high-quality mental health care and want to grow your skills in TMS therapy, wed love to hear from you.Apply with your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
