Despite rapid growth during this period, we remain an Australian owned and family operated company with branches now located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Cairns.Due to the consistent growth in our Parts and Service facility located in Preston, Sydney, we have an opportunity for a someone who is looking for a permanent full-time role to join our well-established parts team as the Warehouse Operator. The role of the Warehouse Operator will be to coordinate and execute the daily warehousing activities ensuring that the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of our parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that workplace health and safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements are met.Some of the key tasks of this role will be to Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsEnsure obligations under the National Heavy Vehicle Law, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) are adhered toPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick stock, unload trucks, containers and crates, label stock, and locate in store)Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for auditsMaintain a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisationReport any discrepanciesCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersConduct pre-start checks and operate warehouse vehicles and equipmentTo be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the followingGood organisational and time management skillsAble to lift heavy objectsExcellent Communication skills Written and OralVDI Australia Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer and supports diversity at all levels of its business.If you would like to know more about VDI visit our website www.vdiaustralia.com.auRole TypeOn-site Permanent Full-time Relevant Experience related to the role #J-18808-Ljbffr
