Successful candidates will be employed by Bytewize to provide ongoing technical support to the Department of Education via the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP). With over 25 years in business, Bytewize is a long-standing panel member of the TSSP.Requirements: Minimum 5 years industry experience, including previous TSSP program experience OR extensive experience in the education sector OR equivalent corporate experience. These roles involve managing IT infrastructure within Department of Education schools, including network and server administration and ICT support for staff and students in ICT-based learning environments.Essential Technical Skills:Management of Windows and Apple devices on an enterprise scaleSupport of Hyper-V virtualized server environmentsSupport of Windows and Linux serversCloud services management (Google and Microsoft)Mobile Device Management deploymentEnterprise network administration (Cisco and HP switches)Cisco wireless network technologiesSupport for enterprise desktops and notebooksExperience in SOE and image deployment, troubleshootingExperience in educational settings or similar enterprise environmentsKnowledge of Department and TSSP initiativesDeployment and management of 1:1 and BYOD devicesICT professional development planningTechnical documentation skillsPersonal Attributes:Motivated, autonomous, team playersProblem-solving skills, resourcefulnessPunctuality, reliability, organizationExcellent communication and human relations skillsAbility to troubleshoot systematicallyAustralian citizenship or permanent residencyValid drivers license and reliable vehiclePolice and background checks requiredRemuneration:Dependent on skills and experience, with top packages $90,000-$110,000Performance reviews, contract options (ABN or TFN), part-time/full-time negotiableAdditional benefits: company vehicle, training, developmentApplication Process:Apply via online job boards and also send your resume directly to employment@bytewize.com.au.
