We are transforming our Business Intelligence systems and need an experienced Power BI report writer to work with the business to define reporting requirements, create reports, and upskill SMEs to become self-sufficient. This position is an integral part of the team to capture business processes, collect requirements, and communicate effectively to take senior leadership through the journey.The role is initially offered as a six-month contract.About the role:Abbotsford or Ballarat based.Design, author, publish, and maintain Power BI reports.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and functionality of reports.Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, capabilities, and best practices.About you:Proven experience as a Power BI report writer.A flair for designing visually compelling and consistently themed reports.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.Desirable:Proficiency in creating calculations with DAX.Benefits:50% off retail price of Haymes Paint manufactured products, including friends and family discounts.6% Medibank Corporate discount.20% New Balance discount.Hybrid working arrangements.Ongoing training and support.Access to a range of workplace health and wellbeing initiatives.Professional development opportunities.Please apply by including a recent resume and responding to the selection questions.
