You will oversee the safe execution of maintenance services and planning activities, driving reliability, continuous improvement and operational excellence across site.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strong, visible leadership to the planning and maintenance services teams, ensuring all activities are completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.Oversee the delivery of maintenance services activities including hose management, component changeouts, ancillary supportand planned maintenance tasks.Drive the execution and continual improvement of maintenance planning, shutdown preparation, scheduling and backlog management.Collaborate closely with maintenance execution, supply, operations, and engineering teams to ensure planning translates into reliable and efficient service delivery.Identify and lead initiatives focused on improving maintenance processes, service quality, equipment availability and cost efficiency.Champion reliability-based maintenance practices and embed a strong preventative maintenance culture across the team.Ensure planning and execution activities are compliant with Mines Regulations, OH&S legislation, and Fortescues safety and maintenance standards.Manage team performance through coaching, mentoring, and structured reviews, building a strong pipeline of future leaders and skilled tradespeople.Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience in maintenance Superintendent or senior leadership role within mining or heavy industry maintenance.Strong safety leadership, with a demonstrated commitment to building a proactive, risk-aware culture.Extensive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and field execution.Strong knowledge of mobile equipment maintenance strategies, reliability engineering principles, and lifecycle asset management.Proficiency with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to lead diverse teams.Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, statutory requirementsand best-practice maintenance methodologies.About UsBe part of something big.
