Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create AlertAs a Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and leading onsite work activities, enabling teams to construct and maintain the distribution electricity network safely, reliably, and affordably to ensure uninterrupted supply to customers.Your Role in ActionEnsure that teams meet daily performance targets, complete work efficiently, and maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders.Respond promptly to faults, isolate the network for repairs, and minimize customer impact.Maintain safety in the work environment, ensuring safe work practices are followed and a safe environment is maintained.Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure the safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network, complying with Western Powers WRAPs and permit procedures.Model personal behaviors aligned with business values, codes, standards, and expectations.What Makes You a Great FitCertificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead OR Certificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing.Valid WA C/HR Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements).Relevant Network Authorization, including a Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment).Training and performance of Q1 and Q2 competencies as per local business requirements, including maintaining required HV/LV switching authorities.Implement Operational Plan (BSBMGT402).Lead Team Effectiveness (BSBLDR403).Lead effective workplace relationships (BSBLDR402).Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and programs to meet legislative requirements (BSBWHS401).By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
