Minara Resources has an opportunity for a qualified Occupational Hygienist Technician to join our established and dedicated team. Minara Resources is Australias largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WAs northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role This role is a member of a hardworking, proactive, and committed team responsible for ensuring all relevant statutory occupational hygiene requirements are met and assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Occupational Hygiene Programme at Murrin Murrin. You will be responsible for: Assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective occupational hygiene policies and procedures. Ensuring all occupational health hygiene hazards are identified, assessed, and controlled. Assisting with maintaining, auditing, and updating the hazardous materials and dangerous goods register (ChemAlert), including chemical approvals for the site. Assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the MMO Health and Hygiene Management Plan. About You This role would suit a person with high attention to detail who is seeking a hands-on role at our diverse site. You will also have: A tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene. A valid and current Manual C class Drivers Licence. Surface Ventilation Officer and Noise Officer certification with DEMIRS. Audiometric Surveillance course. A strong understanding of legislation relating to Occupational Hygiene and Health and Safety.
