Love Where You Work!Metricon Homes, Australias largest home builder, is committed to recruiting outstanding individuals who share our passion for delivering quality, service, and award-winning living solutions for Australian families.Work within a dynamic, fast-paced, high-performing, experienced, and fun Estimating team doing Sales Estimating in our Gippsland office.Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:Produce sales estimates to reflect the customers requirements, including Standard options, Nonstandard variations, Foundation and footing requirements, and Inclusions to meet siting and Regulatory requirements.Ensure all requirements from the engineers report are incorporated into the Preliminary Contract and Contract documents.Follow company checklists to capture and process all information needed to determine fixed site costs.Produce sales estimates supporting various workflow stages, reflecting customer requirements and incorporating amendments for permits related to Preliminary Contract (including amendments), Customer Selections, Contract (including amendments), and Post contract variations.Ensure sales estimates are accurately modified to suit the requirements of engineers, surveyors, and building surveyors.Prepare and document specific estimates according to Metricon design and construction details.Calculate quantities and maintain inventories for standard options using Metricons Estimating Systems software.Set prices based on supplier rates and margin schedules.Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Designers, and Purchasing teams.Metricon will offer you:A supportive management team that values you.Ongoing learning and development opportunities, including nationally accredited courses, e-learning, and comprehensive training programs.Mentoring, role progression opportunities, a competitive salary, and salary package options.Attractive housing discounts on our award-winning homes.Well-being programs such as fitness, free flu vaccinations, nutrition, and mental health support.24/7 access to LifeWorks confidential support including coaching for success and personal/work challenges.Exclusive discounts on building, trade, and retail products through our rewards platform.The successful candidate will have:At least 2 years of experience with an Australian Residential builder as a Sales or Production Estimator.Working knowledge of the building and construction industry.An Associate Diploma in Building Construction or equivalent (preferred).Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and proven estimating experience.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.An interest in continuous improvement and providing feedback to management.The ability to thrive in a goal-driven, dedicated team environment.If you believe you have the necessary experience and drive for this position, and can demonstrate how you meet the skills and attributes, please apply.This role requires a national police check for the successful applicant. #J-18808-Ljbffr
