Anchored in faith, LESNW aims to inspire, serve and walk alongside their members, offering strategic leadership, operational services and guidance through a shared values-based approach.About the role:Reporting to the Business Director, the Finance Manager is a newly re-focused position that blends technical financial management with strategic insights and service delivery.Key responsibilities include:Prepare and deliver management and board reportingOversee payroll operations and support the expansion of payroll servicesManage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionsEnd to end management of finances including month end procedures and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with tax obligations including BAS and FBTCollaborate with external auditors during auditsSupport and shape the organisations finance function in a hands-on roleProvide financial support to member schools and early learning communitiesWork closely with internal stakeholders to improve reporting and support decision-makingAbout you:Tertiary Qualification in Accounting / Commerce / Business Management (or equivalent)CA / CPA qualification or working towards desirableDemonstrated 5-years minimum experience in month-end processes, taxation compliance, financial reporting and reconciliationsExperience in education, university, or a membership-based not-for-profit organisation will be highly regarded.Skilled in payroll processing with a solid grasp of EBAs and employment award nuances, ideally in the education sector.Commercially astute with a customer-focused mindset and drive for continuous improvement.Proficient with MYOB and experienced in full function AP, AR and technical financial reporting.Values-aligned and respectful of the faith-based ethos of Lutheran educationYoure proactive, self-managing, and able to provide clear financial insight to senior leaders.Why this opportunity?Influence change by transitioning the function to a more service-oriented, insight-driven teamFlexible working hours with strong emphasis on in-office collaboration and connectionA supportive and purpose-driven culture, from daily morning tea to shared values and devotionsA chance to make a meaningful contribution to the education sectorOn-site parking and strong leadership supportNext Steps:To Apply please hit Apply Now.
