This marks Australia''s second time hosting the event, after previously staging it in 2006, and follows the success of co-hosting the 2023 FIFA Womens World Cup.You will be part of a Local Organising Committee (LOC), which has been established for the sole purpose of delivering the 2026 edition of the AFC Women''s Asian Cup in Australia.This prestigious event will bring together 12 nations in a tournament structured into three groups of four. We are eager to create another tournament that celebrates women''s football and multicultural Australia and also delivers legacy outcomes for football and Australian society more broadly.If you need assistance in applying for this role, please reach out to our People team.Please note that this role is fixed term until 27th March 2026.Lead and manage the venue operations team at your venues, including LOC staff, temporary staff, volunteers, contractors, and security personnel.Establish constructive communication channels between the LOC and venue and local authorities and stakeholders.Manage and support the Deputy Venue General Manager on venue specific tasks such as Runsheet''s, Site Operating Plans, radio management, daily meetings etc.Support the LOC site manager on the onsite delivery of overlay, logistics, signage and event technology aspects of event delivery.Create strong working relationships with the AFC onsite team to ensure their requirements are met and there are strong communication channels for delivery.Venue Operations:Assess and validate AFCs event requirements to the reality of the stadiums.Integrate all relevant program area operational plans into your stadiums plan.Act as the primary point of contact for Venue based management team for operational planning and discussions.Responsible for the operational delivery of each match day and non-match day at both venues in NSW.What Gets You in the Game?Minimum 6 years of management experience in stadium operations for professional sports clubs and/or venue management in the organisation of major sporting events.Strong knowledge of event planning and event project management processes.Must demonstrate the ability to work with agility, foster trust, embrace inclusivity, collaborate as one united team, and consistently strive for excellence.Full working rights in Australia *(please note that due to the fixed-term nature of the tournament, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position)Working with children check (paid/employee) or state-based equivalentInternational Criminal History Record for each country (other than Australia) in which you have resided for 12 months or more in the last 10 years (if applicable)Out of hours and weekend work as requiredOur roles are based at Moore Park in SydneyThe Winning Team BenefitsFlexible Work ArrangementsAccess to National Team Match TicketsPartner Discounts and OffersBirthday and Thank You LeaveClick APPLY NOW to submit your application, including a cover letter and current resume.
