MMC Australia Pty Ltd is building its internal Workforce management team. Based in East Arm, we are seeking a dedicated, full-time workforce coordinator to assist with personnel onboarding, mobilization & training. Company Overview MMC Australia Pty Ltd is a genuine Northern Territory company. The business is family owned and has been operating locally since 1993. Starting as an onsite maintenance team with a tooling trailer and a 5-person team, MMC has since grown to be one of the largest blue collar Engineering Companies in the NT, with 3 first class purpose built engineering facilities and employing over 110 personnel. For nearly 30 years, MMC has been servicing various local and remote sites across northern Australia with fabrication, welding, fitting, machining, wear lining, project and personnel solutions, servicing the NT mining, construction, oil and gas sector/industry. Key Responsibilities Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees - canvassing, interviewing, onboarding & mobilizations. Liaising with employees, supervisors and project managers on a daily basis. Provide support and guidance to employees regarding scheduling and workforce-related enquiries. Supporting our clients with effective solutions to their workforce resourcing requirements - including mobilizing personnel to Northern Territory mine sites. Ensuring that our employees meet all licensing, legislation and skill requirements of their roles. Develop and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing requirements are met. Skills & Experience The ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external relationships. Effective and professional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer literacy with Microsoft 365 experience. Excellent safety awareness and adherence to processes and procedures. Ability to work well under pressure and think creatively, maintaining a positive and resilient attitude. Experience with sensitive document control, including payroll information. Pronto experience is highly regarded. Knowledge of the industry sectors we operate in, along with relevant experience in a similar workforce coordination and support role, will be highly regarded.
