The OTU also maintains the departments capacity to offer nationally recognised training, eLearning solutions and accurate training records.We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Training Coordinator to join our team.Under the minimal direction of the Manager Operational Training Unit, you will:Oversee the delivery of operational training for natural land and resource management including fire management, conservation and parks and visitor services.Collaborate with Coordinators for Fire Training and Capability Development, plus contribute to the structure, development and content of divisional operational and fire management training and induction packages.Collaborate with the Training Quality Assurance and Systems Coordinator to ensure that operational training is designed, delivered and recorded appropriately.Advise on operational training issues and makes recommendations on training and career pathway issues.At the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector. These should be addressed in no more than four (4) pages in total.Considerable experience in managing a team and evidence of ability to empower team members to deliver programs and projects to the required standard.
