Develops and enhances advanced practice through direct patient care, leadership, consultation, education, and research. Works to improve care processes, ensuring quality standards and coordination with physicians, care managers, social workers, and community agencies. Maintains clinical competency through a caseload.Minimum QualificationsMasters Degree in Nursing with Advanced Practice certification (CNP, CNM, CNS) and completion of an Advanced Practice program.Current Ohio license as an advanced practice registered nurse.Preferred: Minimum one year experience as an advanced practice provider.Successful completion of orientation supervised by a designated APP.BLS certification.Skills and CompetenciesLeadership skills, excellent communication, organization, self-motivation, accuracy, and time management.Problem-solving ability and effective interpretation of instructions.Collaborative team work with interdisciplinary professionals.Flexibility to adapt to changing needs.Ability to provide adult patient care and work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer programs.Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.Maintain hospital privileges if practicing in a hospital setting.Population-specific competency for interacting with diverse patient groups.Physical DemandsHeavy exertion, exposure to hazards, full range of motion, and manual dexterity required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledSalary Range$51.89/hr - $69.50/hr, based on experience and location.
