From Waroona, Collie, Augusta, and everywhere in between, these picturesque places form part of your office on the road!Forget about having a mundane 9-5 desk job. This role is very balanced, working in both office and field-based settings across the region. There will be extensive day travel within the region, and occasionally travel to Perth to participate in forums.As the Operations Support Manager, your focus will be leading and supporting a team of technical, administration, and systems support staff while delivering services within the South West community.The Operations Support function acts as the conduit between many central process owners and the work done in the field. It is a pivotal role covering responsibilities such as regulatory and technical compliance, project delivery support, work planning, field crew technical support, and business services in the regional office.As part of the regional leadership team, you are in a key position to initiate change and solve problems. This may include complex technical, regulatory, operational, or asset issues. You will lead investigations, identify root causes, and seek streamlined resolution processes.What youll doBuild employee capability through mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback, leveraging your leadership experience to facilitate team connections and enhance engagementUse your stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships with internal service providers, supporting the delivery of their accountabilities within the South West RegionDemonstrate leadership by ensuring all work is undertaken prioritizing safety, where no injury is acceptable, and activities are conducted without compromising health and safetyReview operational performance across the region, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and risk mitigationAssist the Regional Manager in managing and reporting on business performance, utilizing continuous improvement processes to ensure efficient resource use and meet regional objectivesKey skills and experienceQualification in a relevant discipline and substantial experience managing and delivering technical and support services within an infrastructure-based organizationExceptional leadership skills with experience leading outcome-focused teams. You can engage, motivate, and inspire the Operational Services team to high performanceExperience in customer relationship management within a large, multi-disciplined service organizationSound like a match?
