Electrical and Infrastructure Maintenance LeadPay: CompetitiveLocation: Whyalla/South AustraliaEmployment type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionReq#: 7629About the roleFamily-friendly roster - 4 days per week - 38 hrsWe are seeking a Maintenance Lead for our SMR Fixed Plant, reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance SMR Fixed Plant. The role focuses on leadership and maintenance management, supporting the safe condition and capacity of fixed plant assets at the SMR site, particularly electrical & instrumentation elements of the SMR Fixed Plants Fixed Crusher and Concentrator, the Global Water system, and all non-process infrastructure.Key responsibilities include:Leading electrical trades team in maintenance and repair workUsing SAP to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasksOverseeing planned and unplanned maintenance at the Fixed PlantContributing to plant shutdown planning and executionEnsuring effective communication within the Fixed Plant TeamProviding technical input on electrical and control systems, including fault diagnosis and repairsAbout your experienceThe successful candidate will work well in a team and prioritize safety. Requirements include:Strong safety and customer focus with good communication skillsElectrical trade or engineering qualificationLeadership experience in minerals processingExperience with computer maintenance systems, preferably SAPInnovative mindset with a results-driven approachAbout our teamSIMEC Mining, part of GFG Alliance, operates in SA and NSW.
