Join to apply for the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician role at UGL.As a key player in the Defence industry, UGL supports the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide, providing operations, maintenance, asset management, and fuel supply services.Due to expanding scope, we seek experienced E&I Technicians to join our Operations & Maintenance team at Darwin RAAF Base, NT. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment supporting national security, with long-term prospects with a Tier 1 services provider.The RoleReporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, based in Darwin supporting the NT Region, with occasional regional travel. Responsibilities include:Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assetsDiagnostics and repair of fuel-related assets in breakdown scenariosProject work on fuel installations and related assetsSupport subcontracted work packagesTravel across NT to support various sitesThe RatesEffective from 1st July 2024:Level 1 - $44.28 p/h + Super, Licence Allowance ($48.79 Weekly), Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)Level 2 - $47.76 p/h + Super, Licence Allowance, Tool AllowanceLevel 3 (Dual Trade) - $51.26 p/h + Super, Licence Allowance, Tool AllowanceQualifications and ExperienceCert IV Instrumentation and A-grade electrical licence with relevant post-trade experienceExperience in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & GasEEHA training requiredConfined space and working at heights tickets preferredSafety-conscious attitudeAbility to obtain Defence Security ClearanceWhat We OfferA full-time, long-term contract within the Defence sector, supporting national security.Competitive rates and benefitsLong-term stability and local workSupportive team environmentUGL values diversity and promotes inclusive environments.
