Our mission is to challenge systemic injustices faced by oppressed communities through advocacy, responsive solutions, and hope.Position Summary:The Associate Director assists the Director of Housing & Shelter with managerial responsibilities to ensure a high-quality shelter experience. This includes planning, monitoring, evaluating, and improving operations, programs, and services. The role involves managing special projects, supervising staff, and contributing to the Shelter Management Team to advance our mission and organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:Support program development, implementation, and evaluation for effective service delivery.Lead data-driven system improvements across departments, collaborating with managers and directors.Oversee new service integration within Housing & Shelter, including planning and logistics.Ensure compliance with contracts, accreditation standards, policies, and internal quality standards.Draft funding proposals and reports in coordination with the Development team.Manage data practices, system implementation, and conduct trend analysis for timely reporting.Supervise and support staff including the Clients Rights Officer, Volunteer Coordinator, Data Specialist, and Special Projects Facilitator.Utilize grievance data to identify and implement improvements.Collaborate with HR on recruitment, hiring, and staff development.Conduct performance reviews for direct reports in accordance with agency policies.Qualifications:Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience; a Masters degree is preferred. A minimum of five years'' management experience in social services, with a focus on housing stability and homelessness prevention.
