An exciting opportunity exists within Council''s mechanical workshop to fill the important position of Plant Workshop Supervisor. Salary and Conditions A salary range of $1,310.36 - $1,475.00 per week (depending upon qualifications and experience) plus allowances and 11.5% superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate. Hours of Work Currently 76 hours per fortnight worked over 19 days per month with 2 rostered days off per month. Qualifications and Experience Applicants will have Trade qualifications as a Mechanic (preference for Diesel) with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Qualifications in E-Safety Inspection (Light) and E-HVAIS (Heavy), or willingness to obtain. A Class C drivers licence, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Conditions of Employment Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Functional Assessment, which includes a Drug & Alcohol and Hearing test.
