Osborne Richardson are public sector specialists, and we are delighted to be assisting our local council client in Melbourne with the following exciting opportunity: Initially to 10 Oct 2025 Immediate start About the role: The Integration Developer will contribute to the design, planning and execution of the TechnologyOne OneCouncil ERP platform across the Council environment, ensuring smooth daily operations while providing support for the platforms technical integrations, which enable efficient and seamless operational transformation activities. The Integration Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain integration solutions that enable seamless communication between the TechnologyOne Platform and other internal and external systems. The role is focused on ensuring data consistency, automating processes and enhancing overall system efficiency through robust and scalable integrations. Key Responsibilities: Participate in program planning and contribute to the design and development of integration solutions Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into effective, scalable solutions. Develop, implement and maintain integration workflows and scripts in accordance with industry standards and best practices Monitor integration processes to ensure optimal performance, availability and reliability and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including design specifications, integration mappings, and test plans. Conduct unit testing and support system and integration testing to validate the functionality and reliability of integration solutions. Ensure all integration solutions are compliant with organisational standards for data governance, security and regulatory requirements. Accountable for maintaining oversight of decision tracking and for managing the creation, implementation and compliance of integration related deliverables and related standards and procedures. Expected to provide technical advice and maintain a high level of knowledge within integration domain. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and centralised documentation of integration strategies, system configurations, and data mappings to support organisational knowledge continuity. Skills & Experience: Minimum of seven years experience as an Integration Specialist within a delivery-focused team, demonstrating a consistent ability to deliver high-quality solutions in alignment with industry best practices. Proficient in designing and implementing integration platforms using Azure Integration Services (iPaaS), including Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Service Queue, and Azure Storage, to connect internal and external systems. Skilled in API design, configuration, and management using Azure APIM, adhering to RESTful API standards (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI), versioning, security, and performance optimization. Experienced in implementing reliable messaging and queuing solutions with Service Bus and Service Queue to support asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures. Adept at leveraging Azure Storage and related services for secure, efficient data exchange across systems. Proficient in Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Proficiency in programming languages like JSON, XML, Java, or .NET (desirable). Skilled in integrating IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS applications to enhance business operations and ensure seamless data exchange. Demonstrated experience using middleware or integration platforms to design and implement scalable and efficient integration solutions. Familiarity with public sector compliance requirements (e.g., data privacy, information security) and the ability to implement governance frameworks within council environments. Hands-on experience with TechnologyOne integration tools such as T1 Connect (formerly EAI), TechnologyOne REST and SOAP APIs, Ci Anywhere Platform and Data Exchange/Automation Tools is highly regarded.
