We are currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Residential Aged Care team at the Farnorha site in Cairns on a Permanent Full-time basis. This role involves providing administrative support across all programs and services at our site, maintaining financial and client systems, delivering high-quality customer service, solving problems, and showing initiative. Prior rostering experience is advantageous. Your daily responsibilities will include: Rostering a large number of care and clinical staff Performing various administrative tasks to support the office operations Data entry into site and service systems, including onboarding new employees and processing creditor invoices Coordinating the admissions process, preparing care agreements, managing resident paperwork, and entering data into PeoplePoint Managing financial tasks such as purchase orders, financial assessments, month-end reporting, petty cash, cash receipting, reconciliation, and bank deposits Assisting with recruitment and onboarding administrative processes, maintaining employee data within HR and Payroll systems About You: You will be an experienced administrator, preferably with aged care experience, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in rostering a high number of staff is essential. You are customer service-oriented and capable of balancing customer interactions with administrative duties. You have good skills in word processing, data entry, petty cash management, and accounts receivable tasks. A Certificate III in Business Administration is highly regarded. You must have COVID-19 vaccinations and a recent flu shot.
