You''ll collaborate with talented professionals, growing your skills within a respectful and inclusive culture committed to an essential purpose.About the Role & TeamThe Commercial team aims to facilitate Australia''s energy transition at the lowest cost and risk to consumers and government. Responsibilities include:Building trust with private sector investors to gather insights for tender and product design.Designing commercial products and contracts (e.g., LTESA, REZ access rights).Managing end-to-end tender processes for energy infrastructure procurement in NSW.Collaborating with EnergyCo and government partners to develop tender-capable REZ access rights.Implementing a robust probity framework in tenders.Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesThe Analyst supports the Commercial team by:Assisting in planning and delivering commercial designs and tenders.Preparing high-quality materials for tenders and stakeholders.Conducting commercial and financial analyses, including policy assessments under uncertainty.Evaluating tender submissions and supporting due diligence.Communicating with stakeholders, including government, banks, and investors.Adhering to governance and probity standards.Applying risk and compliance assessment skills.Skills and ExperienceIdeal candidates will have:Experience in delivering complex projects in renewable energy, private, or government sectors.Experience in drafting complex documents or financial models.Qualifications in finance, law, engineering, economics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.A strong interest in energy transition.Excellent communication, collaboration, and business acumen.A solutions-oriented, client-focused attitude, thriving in dynamic environments.AEMO Services offers flexible work arrangements across Australia, with a preference for applicants in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
