Access counselling, wellbeing services, legal & financial assistanceEnjoy benefits such as paid parental leave, study leave, and the option to purchase additional annual leave.About the role:You will facilitate the smooth operation of the Day Procedure Unit, under the NUM, with a can-do attitude and strong customer service focus.Apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.Provide support to all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource within the clinical area.Provide leadership and direction to the department to align with strategic goals, operational processes, budget, and business direction of the unit and hospital.Your positive attitude, ability to prioritize, delegate, and adapt, along with excellent time management skills, are critical for this role.This position holds a key leadership function and reports to the Nurse Unit Manager, working closely to achieve organizational goals.You will be responsible for staff rostering.Relieve the NUM role during periods of leave.About you:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of AustraliaMinimum of 2 years experience in this roleStrong clinical skillsetRemuneration: The base hourly rate ranges from $55.92 to $57.76 + superannuation, based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
