You will work closely with internal market and development teams to build a robust project pipeline and lead strategic partnerships with Australian co-manufacturers. Focus areas include supply chain excellence, commercial agility, and long-term value creation, supporting our 2025 ambitions and delivering better food today for a better world tomorrow. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Head Australia, with a dotted line to the Global External Manufacturing Director, you will be central to our growth, innovation, and sustainability efforts.What are we looking for?A Bachelor''s degree in Commerce, Business Management, Supply Chain, or Finance.Proven experience in a commercial or business management role, including supplier management, purchasing, or business strategy.Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions in complex and ambiguous environments.Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies.Experience managing S&OP processes with internal and external stakeholders.Willingness to travel up to 30-40% of the time.What will be your key responsibilities?Business DevelopmentEngage with market stakeholders to align customer demand with Australian Co-manufacturing capabilities supporting MFA growth ambitions for 2025/2026.Serve as a liaison between co-manufacturing factories and sourcing managers to implement necessary changes (e.g., specifications, volume adjustments).Co-lead innovation projects related to Kevins Chilled Meals & H&S off-shelf.Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) Transformation and Price Risk ManagementLead transformation programs for COGs and ensure successful delivery.Conduct cost structure analysis for co-manufactured products to identify value opportunities.Manage direct materials budgets and collaborate with buyers to address Purchase Price Variance gaps.Identify suppliers, negotiate pricing, and conduct preliminary supplier audits with the EMQA team.Supply Chain and Supplier Relationship ManagementManage supplier relationships, including performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop contracts and supply chains to support new market launches and ensure operational reliability.Monitor demand forecasts and escalate potential supply risks.Activity ManagementPromote activity management processes and continuous improvement within co-manufacturing teams.Implement the QUEST process to ensure timely delivery of activities from concept to supply.Facilitate stage-gate meetings and update internal stakeholders on project progress.What can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse, talented colleagues guided by the Five Principles.Be part of a purpose-driven company committed to building a better tomorrow.Receive comprehensive learning and development support, including access to Mars University.Enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package, including bonuses.Mars is an equal opportunity employer.
