Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.About the roleThis role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced manager to lead the delivery of economic development and place-based initiatives that support the development of inclusive, culturally rich, thriving and sustainable 24-hour places.In this role, you will lead a dynamic team that delivers a range of programs that support local precinct groups, businesses and community through the promotion of 24-hour precincts, creation of visible and ongoing improvements in late night precincts, activation of places and spaces with diverse leisure and cultural activities, streamlining of approval processes and adoption of precinct-wide initiatives.You will develop strong strategic partnerships with other government agencies, industry organisations, professional bodies and local businesses and work productively to achieve strategic outcomes.To succeed in this role, you will have extensive experience in the implementation of economic development and place-based initiatives, with proven experience leading cross-functional teams and projects. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills which will be proven by your existing and extensive networks in government and the private sector.
