Talk to us about how this could work for you.Period of AppointmentASAP for 12 monthsHours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight- flexible options available.DutiesConsistent with the Implementation Monitors strategic priorities, develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies for the OIMs programs and activities. Ensure these meet the needs of the audiences and comply with relevant Departmental and Government policies, standards and guidelines.Prepare engaging, high quality, consistent and accurate speeches, media releases, newsletter articles, multimedia productions and social media messaging for the Implementation Monitor.Prepare publications such as reports, resources and promotional materials, including the gathering, quality assurance and, if required, writing of content, brand management, printing and distribution, the procurement and management of external consultants and ensuring jobs are managed appropriately and outputs are delivered on time and within budget.Manage the web presence and digital communication activities, ensuring the content is current and appropriate for the target audience(s).Undertake research, analysis and problem solving of complex issues, and provide authoritative advice, recommendations and solutions.Establish collaborative partnerships and effective relationships across government and with key stakeholders, including local and national media representatives.Provide day-to-day practical guidance, professional leadership and support to members of the team, promoting a positive and engaging workplace.As required from time to time, perform other tasks relevant to the skills and experience of the position classification.A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status-Employment).A tertiary qualification or professional background in journalism, communications, graphic design or marketing.Download the Statement of Duties and any Associated DocumentsTo apply, please provide a Short Form Application which is a 1-2 page covering letter outlining your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the Statement of Duties, and a copy of your current Resum/CV.
