Summary Serves as a first point of contact for employees, vendors, and patrons at hospital entrances. Creates a positive first impression for patients, families, and visitors when they enter various key access points to any Summa hospital. Ensures that those entering the building are permitted to enter to help ensure the health and safety of those in the facility. Provides direct assistance to patients, families, and/or visitors, including confirmation of scheduled appointments, pre-registration status, testing/department locations, etc. Assists in ensuring compliance with local and federal laws governing access to our facility, as well as with employee, patient, and visitor safety. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year experience in a direct customer service role Ability to meet and exceed the Service Excellence Standards of Summa Health System Basic computer skills and ability to use various applications Effective interaction with diverse populations, demonstrating respect and dignity Active listening skills with empathy and professionalism Knowledge of hospital layout and ability to navigate the facility Strong communication skills for eliciting and providing information Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills Ability to deescalate conflicts and work under pressure Good judgment, professionalism, and attendance record Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.) Ability to work independently and in a team Physical ability to perform sedentary work Compensation and Benefits Salary: $16.44/hr - $19.72/hr Summa Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and more, with considerations for experience and location. #J-18808-Ljbffr
