We provide modification, production, repair, and airworthiness services for Defence''s Boeing-managed aircraft fleets and communication systems, employing over 2,500 people across Australia and internationally.The OpportunityWe are seeking a talented Senior Technical Officer Structural/Mechanical to support the EC-135 Helicopter fleet, aiding training for the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Army. This full-time role is located in Nowra, NSW.Responsibilities:Support the continuing airworthiness of the HATS EC-135 helicopter fleet in a collaborative team environment.Respond to technical queries from maintenance and support staff.Conduct technical analysis, safety reviews, investigations, and develop modifications related to aircraft structural, mechanical, and propulsion systems.Analyze structural and engine data supporting the structural integrity program.Interpret technical information and produce engineering outputs.Assess and amend aviation publications and instructions.Maintain solutions to ensure fleet airworthiness under DASR regulations.Essential Criteria:Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in Structural/Mechanical disciplines (e.g., Cert IV in Aviation).Experience in an aviation maintenance environment.Australian citizenship required for security and trade compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Desirable Criteria:Familiarity with engineering change processes.Experience with electronic Maintenance Management Systems.CultureWe value diversity and inclusion.
