You will be a hands-on leader, where you are responsible for managing the shift-to-shift operations and performance of the factory, with a team of up to 8. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of extrusion lines and production areas, achieving quality outputs and products that meet all standards and customer expectations.What will you do?Work a 12-hour continuous shift-based roster (night/day), with set rotations over a 28-day roster cycleLead and develop the health and safety culture for the teamProvide leadership and supervision for the team on shiftEngage and motivate the team and work with them to solve issuesProvide support to operators and play a key role in their learning, development, competency and experience across production KPIs, continuous improvement, safety and quality practices and effective teamworkAbout youDemonstrated leadership experience and proven shift management of small/medium sized teams in FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operationsMechanical aptitude who enjoys working hands on whilst leading a teamAbility to set and align balanced operational priorities with the emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, proactive reporting, and a continuous improvement mindsetEffective communication across workplace and workforce diversityExcellent time management, sense of urgency, results focussed to meet daily production KPIs and targetsDemonstrated collaborative style and cross functional engagementYou have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and want to jump onboard to help us continue to grow our manufacturing capabilityLicensed: High Risk Work licence (Forklift) and own transport and drivers licenceWhy join us?
