The Role:In this position, you will support the monitoring, oversight, and understanding of the business for the Primary Health Service North West portfolio. You will apply your financial and non-financial skills and experience to a variety of services, tasks, responsibilities, and projects, working closely with service managers and team members.The role is crucial in supporting senior Business Team members and Service Managers. It offers a focus on developing new knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.You will need to:Prepare financial reports, including monthly reports, end-of-year forecasts, and Commonwealth funding acquittals on an accrual and cash basis for various users.Prepare performance reports that incorporate human resource, service activity, and financial information. Advise clients on appropriate actions to achieve targets and support implementation.Conduct in-depth analysis of business unit and cost centre performance, identify key issues, trends, and variances, and provide advice and recommendations to the Manager Business Support for strategy implementation.Assist and support cost centre managers with budget and reporting processes by providing training and decision-making support to enhance financial literacy, independence, and accountability.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to twelve months from the date of publication.Salary: $98,255 - $103,069 per annum.
