This is a hands-on leadership role focused on mentoring the team, driving compliance, and embedding a strong food safety culture across the plant.Key ResponsibilitiesLead compliance with food safety systems, HACCP plans, GMP, cleaning and hygiene standards, zoning, export requirements, and environmental controls.Be the on-the-floor QA leader support technicians and Team Leaders with deviation investigations, finished goods assessments, and issue resolution.Partner with Production to implement corrective and preventative actions and ensure product suitability decisions are made promptly.Mentor the team in understanding and executing CCPs, QCPs, and RCPs.Participate in daily line walks and QA meetings to uphold standards across Food Safety, Quality, and Customer Service.Support product validations, equipment trials, and share learnings across the QA team.Lead investigations and responses to customer and consumer complaints, ensuring timely resolutions.Provide back-up support to the Quality Manager when required.What Youll BringTertiary qualifications in Food Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of food manufacturing systems and regulatory compliance.Previous experience in high-care or spray dryer environments (preferred).Proven ability to drive food safety culture and continuous improvement.Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to build capability and accountability.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work to high standards within strict timelines and adapt to change with resilience.Why Choose Noumi?Every day at Noumi is a chance to grow, make an impact, and be part of something bigger.
