We are currently seeking casual Cleaning Services Assistants to join our team at Respect St Ann''s in Hobart, Tasmania. The ideal candidates will be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts across different days of the week. About the role: The Cleaning Services Assistant is responsible for providing cleaning services that contribute to a safe, clean, and home-like living environment for residents and staff. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules. Mop, vacuum, and polish floors; shampoo carpets; damp dust; manage waste; restock supplies. Assist with laundry practices as required. Maintain records of cleaning duties completed. Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning agents, using correct agents and quantities for each task. Participate in the infection control program. Contribute to a safe environment by ensuring equipment does not obstruct exits and passageways. Perform any other tasks within the employee''s skills, as directed by the organization. Essential Requirements: Training or experience in cleaning, preferably in an aged care setting. Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire one). Knowledge and experience in chemical handling. Experience in residential aged care. To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
