See below the vacancy and the responsibilities as well as the key skills required for the role.Pound AttendantHorsham, AustraliaReference: 6761540Band 3 ($33.54 per hour)Fixed Term Part-time (3 months, 10-17hrs per week including some weekend work)Flexible working arrangements availableAbout the RoleThe role is responsible for maintaining the pound facility in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with Council''s procedures and the Code of Practice for the Management of Dogs and Cats in Shelters and Pounds and providing day-to-day care for animals within the pound.About YouThe successful applicant will have minimum Year 10 secondary schooling or equivalent and possess a good understanding of domestic animal behaviours and husbandry practices.About the RegionHorsham Rural City Council is a vibrant municipality located approximately 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne.
