This role is essential in keeping our facility clean, safe, and presentable for staff and visitors.About The RoleConcord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.Join a dedicated team at a hospital with over 70 years of service to both the veteran and wider community. This role includes a mix of cleaning, patient and equipment transport, and waste disposal. The daily tasks vary depending on hospital activity, requiring flexibility, independence, and teamwork.For more information Position descriptionKey Responsibilities:Maintain hygiene standards through effective hospital cleaningSafely transport patients and hospital equipmentProperly manage and dispose of general, recycling, and clinical wasteAdapt to different roles and locations within the hospital as requiredIdeal Candidate:Clear verbal and written communication skillsPrevious cleaning or hospital support experienceComfortable using cleaning equipment (e.g., floor polishers)Aware of infection control practices and hygiene importanceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be available to work 2:30 PM 11:00 PM, including some weekends if requiredBenefits and Perks!Accrued Day Off each month (For full time roles), paid Parental Leave & Annual Leave loadingOpportunity for extra tax savings through Salary Packaging and Novated Leasing.
