About the role We are seeking a values-driven AOD Support Worker to help maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment in line with TSA guidelines and participant-led principles. This casual role is based in Surry Hills, NSW, and reports to the Team Leader. You will successfully Create a safe and welcoming space by meeting participants'' immediate needs and respecting their rights. Support recovery through strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centred approaches that promote safety, stability, and self-determination. Facilitate daily programs and routines that enhance life skills, emotional wellbeing, communication, and community engagement. Respond to risks and incidents by implementing safety plans, monitoring wellbeing, and documenting concerns per TSA policies. Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent support across shifts, aiding participants'' progress through recovery and aftercare plans.
