Join us in making a difference!The RoleThe Kitchen Hand in Hospitality Services prepares, plates, and serves meals according to residents'' dietary needs, ensuring smooth meal service in the kitchen and dining areas. They deliver excellent customer service and work with Carers and staff to provide a positive dining experience for Amana Living residents.This role is offered as a Part-time, 5-month fixed-term position at our Lefroy Care Centre Bull Creek, working 50.5 hours per fortnight. The roster covers the following hours:Week 1 & 2Thursday: 0700-1245Friday: 0700-1245Saturday: 0800-1200Sunday: 0800-1200Key responsibilities:Preparing and plating food, serving, and clearing away meals in line with schedulesMaintaining hygiene standards in food preparation and serving areasProviding appropriate client interactions aligned with organisational valuesConsidering client lifestyles and personal choicesMaintaining effective interpersonal relationships and utilizing appropriate communication channelsEvidence of COVID-19 and current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policiesAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity)Successful completion of pre-employment checks and referencesWillingness to obtain an NDIS Screen Check at interview stageWillingness to attend a paid 1-day induction at our Rivervale Training InstitutePrevious kitchen/food preparation experience in aged care (desirable)How to applyIf interested and you meet the essential criteria, click the "apply now" button.
